So exciting! I heard from my Candidate. No intensity yet at OCS, just doing medical screening and what not. He will be inducted tomorrow and officially be a candidate for the USMC. I was surprised to hear from him!
Well, nothing new or crazy going on yet. It's hard to get used to doing everything without him. All my friends have gotten a lot more phone calls from me these past few days, it's nice talking to everyone! I officially have every single weekend planned from here until graduation so hopefully time will just fly by. I bet it does!
I watched his little brothers play football last night and they won by a landslide. Pretty exciting!! The next game I go to I'll be cheering for the officiators, well at least one of them. A good friend of mine is an officiator south of here. I can't wait to watch him!
It's off to kickboxing for me, then a busy day of cleaning and getting things in order.
